Meet the Staff
Hi! My name is Alejandra Chavez Franco, and I am the college readiness program specialist. A little bit about me — I was born and raised in East Dallas and attended college locally at UT Dallas where I earned a bachelor’s in psychology and child learning and development. Later, I got a master’s in higher education administration from Tarleton State University. Personally, navigating college as a student posed some challenges for me. However, as a first-generation college graduate with expertise in college access and first-year student success, I believe higher education can truly transform lives by offering multiple opportunities for career and personal growth. I am excited to assist you in your journey as you transition to UT Dallas!
